Speaking honestly, the Claas Lexion 480 has shown its capabilities during the harvest. It came with two headers - a standard 8-meter and a 12-row one for sunflowers - which provided flexibility. The threshing mechanism combined rotary and dual drum technology, achieving efficient processing. Tires showed decent wear but were serviceable. Minor updates, like filter replacement, were necessary. Interesting machine overall.

Used the Lexion 480 on our farm for a while now. Honestly, not bad, just gotta keep on top of the maintenance. Changing fluids and greasing stuff takes a bit of time, but as long as you do it, she keeps going. I like that it's pretty easy to get into most of the service points, except for a couple spots under the auger - those are a nightmare. Always ends up with someone getting covered in grease, but that's farming I guess. Ran it on wheat and barley, no big hiccups. Starts up without issue, haven't been stuck with any surprises (except maybe some pesky critters in the tank). For the price, it's fair, but not super cheap for parts. The cab isn't the best for comfort if you're in it all day, bit noisy too. Gets the harvest done though, especially with a good cleaning and regular checks.

I have used the Claas Lexion 480 recently during the harvesting season. The combine is well-maintained and operates efficiently, though I found the cabin to lack some modern ergonomic features, which made longer hours a bit less comfortable. Noise levels were manageable, but they could be improved. Overall, a solid machine for its age.

Been running the Lexion 480 for a bit now, picked it up based on its condition and what I've seen. It's a '98, but it's still working fine, no major fixes needed at all - that's kinda rare for a machine this age. I like that I didn't have to throw money at repairs right out the gate, just regular checks. Engine hasn't given me any stupid surprises. The cab is actually decent, I don't end my day feeling wrecked. Rubber's in better shape than I thought - mine still at like 80% on the front, rears were about half. Only thing is, I know eventually parts might get weird to find since it's not new. But for now, starts right up and gets to work, not much to complain about on the operation side.

Recently had the chance to use the Claas Lexion 480, a model from 2000. One thing that stood out was the thorough maintenance it had undergone before my experience. Every moving part seemed carefully evaluated and replaced where necessary, which heightened its operational reliability. The controls felt smooth, but I did gather that cosmetic updates prioritized form over function. Maneuvering it was straightforward, although its vintage design required some acclimation. Overall, it's a solid choice, balancing its age with proper upkeep.

I've operated the Claas Lexion 480 during the last season, and it handled well in diverse conditions. The efficiency in larger fields was noticeable. Maintenance was straightforward, though accessing some components could have been easier. Overall, a dependable machine that delivers results consistently.

I ran one of these Lexion 480s last season after it got a full service. Everything ran fine, wasn't fighting with any stubborn leaks or anything. All the controls responded quick, never felt like I had to force anything. The AC in the cab actually worked too, which was a nice change. Only thing that bugged me was the rear tires-could use replacing sooner than later, but at least they weren't cut up or cracked. Pretty convenient to have the grain header and that trailer ready to go, saves some headaches. For what I need, it ticks most of the boxes, but prices for good units like this still sting a bit.

I recently had the chance to operate the Claas Lexion 480. First impressions? It's solidly built. The cab ergonomics are decent, making extended usage pretty manageable. However, while the performance is reliable, I did find the steering slightly less smooth compared to more modern variants. Maintenance so far has been straightforward, and accessibility to main components makes self-servicing easier. The engine's reliability is a big plus; it powers through tasks without any noticeable hiccups.

I had the chance to operate a Claas Lexion 480 this year. The grain header attachment worked flawlessly, and the machine's engine showed reliability even after prolonged usage. However, the tires seemed worn, slightly affecting field traction. Maintenance access was straightforward and hassle-free. Reliable choice for its category.
